Dean Willemsen

Managing Director and Director

Dean is the founder and Managing Director of the DNW Group.

A true entrepreneur, Dean sought out odd jobs in his community to buy his first motorbike when he was 10, established a thriving garden nursery business at 15, and bought his first house at 21.

He intentionally cut short university (Bachelor of Horticulture) and elected instead to train as a carpenter, going on to co-found Prime Build (part of the DNW Group) in 2008 when he was just 23. Specialising in retail refurbishment and construction, Prime Build was ranked 4th in BRW’s 2014 Fast 100 List of the fastest growing companies in Australia. It continues to experience exceptional growth as a key partner to Kmart Australia, Myer and Aldi Supermarkets.

Dean was invited to join the CEO Institute when he was 28 and was nominated for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award at 29 years old. He is a Director of the Penrith Emus Rugby Union and a qualified yoga instructor.

Kevin Reinert

Chief Financial Officer

A chartered accountant with extensive experience in strategic business development, Kevin is responsible for financial and investment management for the DNW Group.

Before joining DNW, Kevin worked with the publicly-listed DEXUS Property Group in a range of executive roles including General Manager, Services Strategy & Innovation, Regional Reporting & Investments Manager and Financial Controller. He is also a former Senior Financial Reporting Manager with Stockland and a Director of Deloitte. Before settling in Australia, Kevin worked in the United State of America and South Africa.

Kevin holds a Bachelor of Accounting Science (Hons) from the University of South Africa.
He is a member of the Property Council of Australia CFO roundtable as well as a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Lachlan Cameron

Chief Operating Officer

Lachlan is responsible for operational planning and technology across the DNW Group.

Lachlan has a proven track record in helping businesses achieve growth potential. He is a former Chief Operating Officer for McConnell Bourn, one of the fastest growing companies in Australia; and held a number of roles (including Commercial & Procurement Manager and Infrastructure & Projects Manager) for Interactive Pty Ltd, a leading Australian IT services company. He has also worked as a Business & Financial Analyst with the Novartis Group and Anglicare.

Lachlan holds a Bachelor of Business and a Bachelor of Medical Science from the University of Technology and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Will Blott

Chief People Officer

Will is responsible for talent management and culture across the DNW Group, enabling us to continually meet or exceed the needs of our people in today’s rapidly changing world.

Before joining DNW, he held several senior management roles with Google where he led a variety of talent attraction and development initiatives in Asia, Europe and North America, helping to establish Google as one of the most frequently voted employers of choice. Earlier in his career, he managed the Future Leaders Program for Unilever Australasia.

A registered psychologist (NSW), Will holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology (Hons) from the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom.

Advisory Board
Steve Ironside - Advisory Board Member

Steve Ironside


Steve fulfils the role of Chair to the DNW Group Advisory Board.

He was the Founder and is now Executive Chairman of Jobpac, a computer management systems company which was the leading project cost, forecasting and contract administration system used by the construction industry with a turnover in excess of $3 billion when it was sold to a US based corporation in 2015. He is also the Managing Director of BCM Systems, a company specialising in software technology. Earlier in his career, Steve worked in several executive roles with the IBM Corporation.

Today Steve remains active in various business circles including as a Director of several start-up mobile development applications.

Tanya Cox


Tanya has more than 15 years’ experience as a chair and non-executive director of both commercial and not-for-profit boards. Currently director of a number of ASX listed and unlisted companies. A financial services professional for more than 25 years, including most recently 11 years as COO of DEXUS Property Group.

Tanya is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, the Governance Institute of Australia and the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators, a member of the St James Ethics Centre and holder of a MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management, a Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance and a finalist in the 2005 NSW Telstra Business Woman of the year awards.

Mike Christensen


Mike is the Managing Director of business consultancy Truro Partners. He specialises in finance and treasury.

Mike’s career has included roles in Australia, the UK and the USA. He was formerly General Manager, Group Treasury; Head of Finance Transformation; and Head of Strategic Planning at DEXUS Property Group; and he also worked with Westfield.

A graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and a member of the Loreto Kirribilli Finance and Risk Committee, Mike holds a Masters in Applied Finance from Macquarie University and a Bachelor of Economics from QUT.

Andrew Coward


Andrew is the founder of Polymer Studios, a consultancy specialising in communications, research and strategic planning for the built-environment.

Andrew has worked for some of Australia’s largest property developers including Leighton Properties and Sekisui House Australia.

In Australia, he has been involved with a range of notable urban renewal projects including Central Park Sydney, The Waterfront Wentworth Point, Kings Square Perth and Green Square Town Centre. He also has overseas experience in Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.
